1. Q: How Smart Anti-snore Pillow works?
    A: When the sensor detects the snoring sounds, the anti-snore function will be started automatically and gently shift left and right 7 times then adjust your head & neck positions and finally the narrowed airway is opened then the snoring sounds could be stopped.
  2. Q: Is the electrically operated pillow safe?
    A: The product uses specific adapter with safety features. It can transform AC 100-240V into DC12V. So there is no electric shock risk. Please see the electricity safety video below.
  3. Q: May I adjust the number of times for shifting left and right?
    A: Yes, you may. Please check with the back side of pillow and self-adjust the Smart Anti-snore Shifter, you may refer to the “ Illustration of Adjusting the Anti-snore Pillow Shifting Controller” for details.
  4. Q: Is this Smart Anti-snore Pillow suitable for side sleepers?
    A:No matter you are side sleepers or back sleepers, you can use this pillow as well. Only 4 snoring sounds are required in order to start it’s anti-snore function by shifting left and right gently.
  Snore during sleep not only bother people but also is bad to one’s health.   • Why do we snore?
    Snore is the sound from the beat of mucous membrane of the upper respiratory tract when the inhaled oxygen goes through the narrow the upper respiratory tract. Due to the position, most people have narrower upper respiratory tract in the sleep than in the day when they are awake. Nevertheless, in normal condition, the respiratory tract can still keeps a certain tension to keep smooth air current. In certain conditions, the tract is blocked and we then snore.
    For adults, more common cause is the narrow oropharyngeal, which may be resulted from hypertrophy tonsil, too long uvulopalatal or rear pharynx close to midline. Also, clogged nose also worsens the snore. The common condition among children is nasal aderoidal hypertrophy or tonsil hypertrophy.
    Serious clog may cause sleep apnea syndrome, which is termination of breathed air current for over 10 seconds taking place many times during a night’s sleep.

 

  • Classification of snore
    Sleep experts classify the snore into three levels based on the volume of snore:
    (1)Occasional snore: in sleep with face upwards, from fatigue, after having win or being too full
    (2)Frequent snore: snore through the whole night regardless of the positions and people in the same room able to hear the snore
    (3)Frequent snore in large volume: people in the entire house able to hear the snore and often with sleep apnea syndrome

  • Snore will cause?  

    Some physicians suggest including sleep into annual health examination. Smoking, excessive wine drinking, obesity and over fatigue may cause snore. Louder snore means insufficiency of oxygen in the blood. Intima of blood vessel is the first to be injured. Impurities of platelets and cholesterol will be stuc or attached on the damaged coarse intima, causing blood vessel obstruction. In the long run, the health is significantly affected and people may have heart disease, hypertension, myocardial infarction, cerebral hemorrhage and paralysis, etc. It will often cause people to have short temper, get angry easily, have poor judgment, bad memory, and worsened alertness, suffering from damaged mental and physical health.
